Specific Alabama EMT requirements:

 

The Alabama Office of EMS and Trauma oversees all aspects of Paramedic and EMT certifications. This means that, in addition to the NREMT tests, further test by this organism will be required. All ambulance and EMS services as well as all Emergency Medical Technicians are governed by this body. They can suspend or revoke any agency or EMT license and are responsible for maintaining the highest standards among Emergency Medical Technicians.
