  • Be over 18 of age
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record
  • Completed an EMT classes

Since the Delaware is a pretty small State, they have decided to keep things quite simple. In fact, there are only 2 level of EMTs in this state:

First Responder

EMT-B

 

The first responder class is more demanding than the regular certification and requires 5 days of training. All EMT certifications are managed by the State Fire School.
