You want to become an EMT in Montana and you want to know the EMT requirements? We have prepared this quick information sheet on EMT jobs perspective and requirements. Being an EMT in Montana is not easy with under average hourly wages ($13.04) and a low high bracket at $18.65. Please note that all states require EMT classes’ confirmation and EMT certification. General EMT requirements:

  • Be over 18 of age
  • High School Diploma
  • Clean criminal record
  • Completed an EMT classes

 

Specific Montana EMT requirements:

The Montana Board of Medical Examiners is managing all EMTs and Paramedics classes.  Fees for licensing are quite low:

$20.00 – EMT First Responders

$30.00 – EMT Basic

$40.00 – EMT Intermediate

$60.00 – EMT Paramedic

 

The State of Montana accepts EMT licences coming from other states. Montana requires a NREMT registration equal to or greater than the level of licensure being requested in Montana.
