You want to become an EMT in Indiana and you want to know the EMT requirements? We have prepared this quick information sheet on EMT jobs perspective and requirements.   • Be over 18 of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No Felony
  • EMT classes completed


Specific Indiana EMT requirements:

The State of Indiana requires both NREMT certification and the Indiana State EMT or Paramedic written and practical exams. The EMS educational program consisting of about 144.5 hours combined.


Indiana EMT fees & other specification:

EMTs salaries are a bit deceiving in Indiana with an average hourly wages of $14.37/hour and a very limited maximum bracket at $20.94/hour.
