Specific Missouri EMT requirements:

In order to become a licensed EMT in the state of Missouri you must first pass a state accredited EMT training institution course that complies with the D.O.T. EMT curriculum. The Missouri Emergency Medical Services is taking care of all EMTs and Paramedic classes. They have great EMTs program and each EMT certification has it owns minimum hours of training. Paramedics need 144 hours, 96 of which are core. EMT-Basics need 100, 48 of which are core.
